While Buffalo Roamed: The Wild West History of Colorado is building its biggest search strength around “did mexico lose,” where it currently captures top visibility on Apple and leads on Spotify, supported by strong performance on adjacent history-focused queries like “history publishers” and “california bandits.” Its clearest missed opportunity is expanding into broader discovery terms for the genre—particularly “old west” and related phrases such as “old west culture,” “the old west,” “old west stories,” “old west legends,” and “cowboy history,” which it does not yet rank for.
