Here and Abroad’s biggest search strength is its ability to rank strongly on player- and matchup-focused queries (from names like “Cavan Sullivan” and “Giovanni Reyna controversy” to topics such as “Australia vs Paraguay”), which is supporting visibility on both Apple and Spotify. Its clearest missed opportunity is broader category capture for “soccer podcast” intent terms—specifically “soccer podcast,” “national team podcast,” “football podcast us,” and “mls podcast,” which it does not yet rank for.
